The 1st of June is a special day in Romania, dedicated to celebrating the joy and innocence of children. For the fifth year, Airquee has gone above and beyond to mark this occasion with an unforgettable celebration. This year’s event, held at the Airquee inflatable testing field, was a spectacular gathering that brought together over 1,200 attendees, of employees and their families, to enjoy a day filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit.

Since its inception, the Airquee Children’s Day event has grown in both size and significance. What started as a modest gathering has blossomed into a grand celebration, reflecting the company’s commitment to its employees and their families. This annual tradition is a testament to the enduring values of Airquee – fostering a sense of belonging and creating joyful experiences that bring people together.

Separated from the main factory, the Airquee testing field was transformed into an extraordinary playground, showcasing over 20 of Airquee’s finest inflatable creations. This year, the field was a bustling hub of excitement and adventure. The children’s eyes widened with delight as they explored the towering slides, intricate bouncy obstacle courses, and whimsical bouncy castles. Each inflatable offered a new world to discover, making it difficult for the kids to decide where to play first.

The celebration was as much a feast for the palate as it was for the eyes. Traditional treats like lángos and kürtőskalács delighted the attendees, providing a taste of local culture and cuisine. The delicious deep-fried lángos and sweet, spiral-shaped kürtőskalács, also known as chimney cake, were favourites among both young and old. To keep everyone refreshed, popcorn, ice cream, and a variety of drinks were available throughout the day, ensuring that the fun never stopped.

One of the highlights of the day was the face painting stations, where Airquee artists, Adel, worked her magic on eager children. From brave superheroes to enchanting princesses, each child left the booth transformed, ready to embark on their next adventure in the inflatable wonderland. The face painting added a splash of colour and creativity to the event, making it even more memorable for the little ones.

This year’s event saw a remarkable turnout, with over 1,200 people in attendance. The Airquee family – comprised of 400 employees and their extended families – came together to celebrate in a truly inclusive environment. It was heartwarming to see generations of families enjoying the day together, from toddlers discovering the joy of bouncing to grandparents sharing in the laughter and fun. With staff being able to show off all their hard work.

These individuals gave their time and energy to ensure everything ran smoothly, from the setup of the inflatables to coordinating the day’s activities.
