The AQ6121 Derby Door Infection Control system is an innovative inflatable solution designed to support emergency decontamination, infection control and temporary containment procedures in healthcare environments.
Developed in collaboration with Paul Brooks from the Royal Derby Hospital, the Derby Door was created to provide hospitals and emergency teams with a fast, practical and adaptable way to isolate areas, support decontamination processes and improve infection control response.
The Derby Door can be rapidly installed where temporary separation or controlled access is required. Its inflatable design allows healthcare teams to respond quickly without the need for permanent structural changes.
Originally developed as an inflatable emergency decontamination door, the Derby Door has since inspired a wider range of inflatable decontamination products, including emergency tents and temporary structures.
Available in a range of sizes and colours, the Derby Door can be tailored to suit different hospital layouts, bay dimensions and operational requirements.
