Wet conditions can make surfaces slippery, so operators should assess the weather conditions and stop if safety could be affected. After use in wet weather, the inflatable should always be fully dried before storage to help prevent damage as well as the build up of mould and mildew.

In the UK, commercial inflatables should not be operated in wind speeds exceeding 24 mph (38 km/h), including gusts, unless the manufacturer specifies a lower limit.
