FAQs – Frequently asked questions

At Airquee our sales and customer service team members are ready and willing to help however we can. When it comes to advising and supporting our clients, Airquee can be there every step of the way. We can help with the purchase of any inflatable, whether a bouncy castle, obstacle assault course, bouncy slide, inflatable building or custom made/bespoke inflatable. Below we have answered some frequently asked questions. 1. Can I hire your inflatables for my event?
We do not offer hire or rental to hirers or the general public. We sell our units to everyone but currently we offer inflatable rental exclusively to UK leisure centres. For further details on UK leisure centre hire options please see our Air Rent page. 

2. Where can I find your prices?
Currently we cannot display our prices on the website but we are looking into it. In the meantime you can call us on 01179 414918 (Option 1) or request a price list from our Sales team by emailing sales@airquee.co.uk.

3. I want to start a bouncy castle business, what do I need?
Our company has one of the most experienced customer service and sales teams in the bouncy castle and inflatable industry. If you are interested in starting your own business call us to discuss the possibilities. There is never a silly question, so don’t be afraid to contact us and ask! When starting a hire business, you should consider: 

  • How many staff will be required to set up the inflatable?
  • Would you prefer small light units?
  • What transport would you need? 
  • The current trends for bouncy castles, inflatable games, slides and obstacle courses/fun runs; 
  • The latest rules and regulations (operation and technical).

4. What is included in the price of the unit?
All our inflatables come complete with the following items:

  • 12 Months Manufacturer’s Warranty;
  • Relevant blower and additional accessories;
  • Rope;
  • Initial safety certificate;
  • Operating instructions;
  • Minor repair kit;
  • Storage bag.

5. What are your lead times?
If we have a unit in stock it can be dispatched for next day delivery on orders placed before 12pm. Our lead times for the manufacture of bespoke and standard units vary depending on the time of year. 

6. Should I have my bouncy castles and inflatables annually inspected? 
Any land inflatable should be annually inspected by a competent person (as stated by HSE). Some annual inspections are referred to as RPII tests or PIPA tests but the term “test” is slightly misleading. A PIPA tag is not a legal requirement but it is the most obvious way to demonstrate to parents, schools, local authorities or large corporate organisations that your bouncy castles and inflatables are fully compliant with the EN14960 standard. Airquee can sell all inflatables with a PIPA tag and certificate, if required. For more information on inspection and PIPA please see our Repairs and Testing pages.

7. What do PIPA, EN14960 and RPII mean? 
PIPA is the organisational body behind the implementation and administration of the EN14960 design and manufacturing standard. The EN14960 design is the European standard for the inflatable industry. It applies to any products that are bounced or slid upon. RPII are the primary testing organisation for examining and enforcing the EN14960 (PIPA) standard. Each product is held on a central database with details of test results, which can be checked by all members of the public. 8. What are the costs of shipping/delivery?
Delivery and shipping costs depend on the size of the unit and to where it is being delivered. For UK customers our couriers offer next day delivery to most postcodes, excluding northern Scotland. For customers outside the UK, if we have a distributor in your country please contact them directly. You can find their details in the Contact section of our website.
